Quality management

The quality management of written exams comprises several dimensions.

One essential aspect is the standardization of the entire examination process in a closed loop-like system.

This closed loop has a review process firmly implemented in it, supported by relevant communication structures, approval steps and predefined time limits.

Equally important is the control of the evaluation process through a systematic, quickly accessible item analysis in the question database.

The quality management of the teaching is based on the ability to call up sufficient quantities of data on the individual courses/tutorials. The data must supply objective parameters with regard to the following evaluations:

  • Reactions and acceptance
  • Learning
  • Transfer
  • Results
They thus comply with the requirements of the "Four-Level model" developed by Kirkpatrick (1998).
