The future is digital
Many different methods are nowadays used to write exams at universities. In addition to the classic paper-written exam, experiments are also being carried out with online and e-exams – with a differing amount of success.
Written exams by computer (Q[kju:]-Client):
With its Q[kju:] platform, Codiplan is currently the only provider in Germany to offer a completely WLAN-based, mobile, proven system for holding electronic examinations. In the just under three years that have elapsed since its introduction, more than 55,000 student exams have been carried out successfully – also ensuring legal compliance.
Written exams with analogue/digital pen (Q[kju:]-Pen):
A pioneering new innovation is the analogue/digital pen – a ball-point pen for the analogue completion of paper forms. It saves the input in digital form and makes the data available for reading immediately afterwards.
The pen is used in both the examination and the evaluation process, enabling immediate capture and analysis of the data. This results in considerably improved efficiency in all processes.
